Curried lentils and baby spinach

How can I do?

The ginger root, peeled and cut two slices. Reserve remain.

In a pot with cold water put lenses and 2 slices of ginger
Bring to a boil. Skim off the white foam and reduce heat. Boil the lentils until almost a consistency of mashed potatoes. Remove the 2 slices of ginger

Heat the oil heat in a saucepan. The chopped onion until melted. Garlic and chopped ginger and curry powder, turmeric and pepper crushed. Season with salt and pepper. Pour pureed lentils, lemon juice and spinach
Mix gently. Cook about 2 minutes until tender spinach without losing their making their green color.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup lentils
  • Three times the volume of salt water
  • 2 handfuls of baby spinach
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 piece of fresh ginger 3 cm long
  • Curry powder (to taste)
  • 1 tsp turmeric coffee
  • Juice of one lemon
  • 1 chilli option
  • Salt and pepper
  • Canola oil or clarified butter
