Health and Education Project in Cambodia

Teach English, Computer and Environmental Evening Classes
Health and Education Project in CambodiaKNGO offers 250 children in Bospo village the chance to gain free education in English, Computing and Environmental studies.  As well as offering children oral check-ups and basic health care, we help the children develop valuable skills for the future and aim to reduce the poverty in our area.

We invite volunteers to assist on our projects for whatever time that they can offer, although it is helpful if you can stay for more than one week.  By helping in our English classes the children develop confidence and can work on their pronunciation.

Our organization is supported by volunteers teaching English to children from  We are constantly looking for more volunteers.  In each class we have a Khmer teacher who the voluteer will assist with lessons, help with correct pronunciation and create new activities for the students.

A generous neighbor contributes rooms in his house for KNGO's volunteers nearby the school(3 minute walk). You can stay in one of these private rooms for $5 per night. Meals are provided at the KNGO office patio for $5 per day. Local Khmer food is served (veg friendly)  but this is all optional. You may choose to arrange your own accomodation and simply visit KNGO to work with the children as a volunteer during the day.

Staying with a host family can make your trip easier than staying in a guesthouse. Volunteers can interact with the members of the family and the village society, making stay more interesting and giving you a genuine Khmer experience.
