Tortus Copenhagen workshop and design collection of ceramics
If you read our blog regularly and keep track of what we are discussing topics here, so you know exactly, I have a penchant for ceramics. I have presented some of my favorites here on our website. So the other day I heard of a Danish ceramic newly formed company – Tortus Copenhagen. Since I knew immediately, at first glance, I have to talk about their studio and their work necessarily. That's why I want to tell you today that my impressions. This is actually the collaboration between two Danish ceramists established, Eric Landon and Karin Blach Nielsen. You must watch the video, it shows how Eric a vessel on a potter's wheel worked. It really helps to see the whole process of pottery and enjoy. Each container is created with such care in his studio. Therefore, every penny of these unique pieces are really worth. Crooked Copenhagen has three collections, called "Unika" (my favorite), "fluted" and "Easy". Here's a look at his small studio with some of their products. Enjoy the pictures of him!
