A pair of Vancouver turns a cookie cutter condo into a personal space, where the eclectic atmosphere prevails.

Chad Farquharson and Wayne McGill, he can not help, they often take their work home. But these are not their nine to five jobs (Chad works for the government and Wayne is in the details) – it is their role as owners we live like this, their interior design business. The fun and unique philosophy behind this entrepreneurial company encourages homeowners to take action and to meet new decorating decisions. And nowhere is this more evident than in teaching approximately 700 m2 condo in downtown Vancouver. The show explores an eclectic mix of styles. A new sofa is perfectly comfortable with an Asian look, transformed as Kafeetisch. The white chair is a vintage store find, and the chair contemporary design is a gift from a friend.

  • Wayne: We wanted to challenge myself and not do what we have done in the past in terms of color, while we show our personality at the same time. We wanted to be sure it is hard / soft, masculine / feminine, old words / new.

  • Wayne: I do not have a favorite, but I love all the textures. We wanted our house is very tactile – it makes you feel small moments of Mongolia throws, velvet, linen, velvet and cashmere.

  • Chad: We have added a shelf in the long corridor, then hit the wall. It is now functional and spectacular – rare qualities for a corridor. Wayne: No one has a chalk wall in the room, and can be customized at any time.
