Eric Standley is a company based in Virginia, USA artist application of laser cutting technology to create modern art paper. His works are inspired by Gothic and Islamic architecture of the 12th century. They are so detailed and multi-faceted that they look like real devices as if they were made with a hammer and chisel. Indeed, it only works with many layers of paper which are stacked. These are then cut with precision laser innovative technology. Madness, right?
