This project explores the trends in cultural preferences and the differences in the tastes of children (and parents) from diverse cultures, ethnic and gender socialization and identity groups. Source: Jeongmeeyoon The Pink and Blue Project started my five-year-old daughter who loves the color pink so much that she wanted to wear only pink clothes and play with that toy and pink objects. I discovered that my daughter was not unusual. In the United States, South Korea and elsewhere, most young girls pink clothing, accessories and toys love. This phenomenon is widespread, regardless of their cultural background between children of different ethnic groups. That may be the influence of pervasive commercial advertisements for little girls and their parents, such as Barbie and Hello Kitty merchandise universally popular that developed into a modern trend. The girls are subconsciously and unconsciously to wear the color pink to look feminine.
