Kitchari the coral lenses

How can I do?

Wash, peel and cut the carrots into cubes.

Heat oil in a pan, the spices and ginger and cook regularly over medium heat 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly. If ginger is colored, add the diced carrots and cook a few minutes until carrots take colors.

Then cover with rice, lentils, rose water and 3 cups of salt water. Cover and simmer for ten minutes.
Be sure to see Kitchari: It should remain moist and rice tends to hang pretty quickly.

Just before serving, with a few cubes of apples (Granny Smith type, in the ideal case) and make seasoning.

  • 100g basmati rice
  • 100g Reef lenses
  • 2 carrots
  • 02:01 Apple
  • 3 cm fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 2 cup coffee ground coriander seeds
  • 1 cup of coffee cumin
  • Rose 1 cup of water for coffee
  • 1.2 cup of coffee turmeric
  • 1 pinch of salt
